Offerings

Guided by a music educator, teenagers come together to experience selected concerts. Before the main event, there are interactive workshops or age-appropriate concert introductions to get them ready. The journey wouldn’t be complete without a peek behind the scenes and a chance for a personal meet-and-greet with the artists. 

Saturday, August 17, 2024, 10.00 – 11.00 AM, Jugendzentrum Oeyetli, Saanen
Breakdance Workshop
Guided by two dancers from the DDC Dance Destruction Crew, teenagers aged 12 and up are welcomed to dive into a breakdance crash course. No previous experience is required. In the evening, accompanied by a music educator, the teens attend the following event together:
7.30 PM, Gstaad Festival Tent: Breakin’ Mozart – Classics meets Breakdance – Trans-Classics XIII 

Thursday, August 22, 2024, 6.45 – 7.30 PM, Saanen Church
Programme Introduction, Behind-the-Scenes Tour and Meeting the Artists
Ahead of the concert, there’s a special 45-minute session designed for teenagers to get a sneak peek. Plus, they have the chance to go behind the scenes and chat with the artists. Afterward, joined by a music guide, the teens enjoy the concert together:

Community Music Workshop
Whether you‘re a seasoned orchestra musician or trying out an instrument for the first time, the Community Music Workshop invites all teenagers aged 12 and up to come together with musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra. Join in the improvisation, experimentation and composition – and most importantly, have a blast. Guided by a music educator, the teenagers then enjoy the concert in the evening:
7.30 PM, Gstaad Festival Tent: Sound of Planets – Trans-cendence XI

Admission is free for residents of the Saanenland, Obersimmental and Pays-d’Enhaut regions.
