SUPPORT THROUGH FOUNDATIONS / philanthropy

We are looking for foundations willing to support our Festival – with its 60-plus annual concerts –, our own Gstaad Festival Orchestra, the amateur programme "Youth and Adults", the "Discovery" programme dedicated to the youngest, as well as the Gstaad Digital Festival platform in all its diversity.

Facilitating the transmission of knowledge and experiences from one generation to the next has been a lifelong mission for Yehudi Menuhin, musician, humanist and founder of the Festival. In order to maintain this commitment and pay tribute to him, we have set up an extensive academic programme under a single roof – that of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy – five masterclasses open to young professional musicians and aspiring conductors from all over the world. These academies are all led by prominent musical personalities who devote time to passing on their knowledge throughout the Gstaad summer.

Philanthropic commitment and the support of cultural foundations make it possible, beyond the organisation of concerts, to achieve the long-term and essential part of our Festival, namely the promotion of tomorrow's talent.
