The Festival Friends celebrate the festival all year round.
An important and fixed component is the association assembly, which generally takes place during the festival in August.
The Festival Friends normally meet in spring to get in the mood for the coming summer.
The crowning highlight is the Festival Friends' Evening during the festival with a joint concert visit and subsequent dinner.
