To the mesmerising tunes of Georges Bizet, reimagined by Roumen Kroumov, Margrith Gimmel-Dauwalder, together with kids and teens from Saanenland, will breathe new life into the worldwide renowned opera Carmen. Who was Carmen? A destitute factory worker? No, she’s a circus artist, admired by all.

Audiences will embark on thrilling adventures with her and her crew, join them with smugglers in the mountains, and marvel at enchanting dances and circus performances. Throughout, the young participants will infuse their own creativity, shaping scenes as per their own visions. Will Carmen find her happiness in this vibrant rendition?
