Flexibility

Thanks to a swift and flexible commercial policy, the reimbursement of tickets in connection with COVID-19 is guaranteed. The full ticket price (excluding incidental expenses) will be refunded.

The protection concept is updated in real time according to the guidelines of the competent authorities. Details of the measures (wearing masks, access to concertvenues, etc.) will be communicated in early summer. Please enquire about the latest recommendations before coming (www. gstaadmenuhinfestival.ch).

We undertake not to exceed under any circumstances the limited spectator capacity that we ourselves have set. Further restrictions may be made in case of official measures.

For the protection of all concert goers, wearing a mask at all events and on the whole area of the venue is compulsory. The correct wearing of a mask during admission, exit and the entire concert is mandatory.

 

Venues & seating capacities

The following applies at all venues:

A one-seat space with the next person or group of people is guaranteed; Groups must not exceed 10 people;

The space left free is automatically generated at the time of booking;

Safe entrance and exit management.

We guarantee the strict observance of hygiene and behavioural measures during each event.

Catering / Bar service

In order to take maximum account of hygiene measures and to avoid crowding, the 2021 Festival edition will refrain from operating catering facilities before, during and after the concerts.

Chamber music and small choral concerts exclusively.

Maximum capacity: 300 spectators (normal capacity: up to 750).

All concerts are given without interval, with a slightly reduced programme.

Some concerts are given twice (at 6 pm and 8.30 pm). After each concert, every seat will be disinfected and cleaned. Proper ventilation with outside air will be ensured by airing the church sufficiently.

For the concerts in the Gstaad Festival Tent, a sector concept with a maximum capacity of 300 spectators per sector will ensure safe distance. The guidance system for access to the sectors already takes place on the forecourt of the Festival Tent (see schematic diagram below).

In order to offer each spectator sufficient space (and thus security), some concerts, which would normally take place in the church in Saanen, have been moved to the Gstaad Festival Tent. The sector concept provides two sectors with 300 spectators each.

Maximum capacity: 600 spectators in 2 sectors of 300 each (normal capacity: up to 1800).
