Symphony Concert

7.30 pm, Gstaad Festival Tent

Like the famous Venezuelan “El Sistema”, “Sinfonía por el Perú” has made it its goal to bring “great” music to those who do not have access to it, allowing them to perform in a group – in an orchestra – thus strengthening the social bond. Launched in 2011 by the most famous Peruvian artist, tenor Juan Diego Flórez, the programme naturally plays on the latter's fame. It is an opportunity for the most talented of these budding instrumentalists to take part in wonderful international tours, and for these musicians, proud of their roots, to lead the “voice” of Peru aro and the world, through concerts that give pride of place to Latin American folklore.Tent
