(Good) music, as is well known, knows no borders. Mozart and urban music are thus made for each other! The success since 2013of the “Breakin' Mozart” show, created by German director Christoph Hagel, is a striking example of this. Hagel, who has made these great crossover shows his trademark – such as “Flying Bach” seen by more than 300,000 people in 27 countries –, invites singers and break-dancers from the DDC Dancefloor Destruction Crew, a company founded in Schweinfurt in 1999 in the midst of the urban “battles” wave and that made its international debut thanks to Mozart himself!
