It is undoubtedly Beethoven's least played concerto and yet one of the most appealing: the Triple Concerto offers an opportunity for dialogue between soloists and orchestra worthy of the most beautiful pages of chamber music, especially when, as here, this exchange is led by virtuosos who not only shine themselves but also know how to make their partners shine. In addition to the famous Fifth Symphony, the Triple Concerto shares the bill with another rare page from the Bonn genius: his Choral Fantasy. First sharing the stage with Daniel Lozakovich and Edgar Moreau, the magnificent pianist Sergei Babayan will then be joined by Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Philharmonic of London, as well as the perfect voices of the Zürcher Sing-Akademie, one of the best choirs in Switzerland.
