Do you know the «erhu»? A traditional Chinese two-stringed instrument, it is made up of a long neck and a sounding board open on the back and covered with snake skin on the front, played with a bow, resting on the left thigh, rather like a viola da gamba.

A magnificent encounter coupled with a long voyage offered by the London Menuhin School, who are also bringing with them the Concerto Grosso No. 1 by Ernest Bloch, Swiss composer whose 60th anniversary of his death is being celebrated in 2019.
