Together with the Artaserse Ensemble that he founded in 2002, French countertenor Philippe Jaroussky performs an expressive, virtuoso repertoire of works ideally suited to his crystal-clear voice. Do you remember his gala performance of pieces from Baroque opera in 2016? You are sure to fall doubly for his gala performance in 2018, particularly since he also is accompanied by Hungarian soprano Emöke Baráth with whom he has recently celebrated triumphs on recording (for Erato) as well as on stage, here in a programme centering around Handel.
