Mailing of the festival programme
Postal mailings are still an important part of informing our customers about the festival programme.
How is this compatible with the high sustainability targets?
After careful consideration with experts, we came to the following compromise: In the past, mailings were sent in conventional paper envelopes. Due to their susceptibility to damage, we felt compelled to switch to more stable packaging. In doing so, we are looking for a compromise between tear resistance and sustainable materials. At the same time, we actively encourage our customers to let us know whether they prefer to receive their mailings by post or digitally.
The measures at a glance:
Depending on the product, all postal items are sent using materials that are 100 percent biodegradable or consist of at least 50 percent recycled material.
We regularly ask our customers which products they would like to receive by post.
Until a fully sustainable solution is available on the market that also fulfils the requirements for secure shipping, we regularly check whether the selected shipping method is still up to date.
