Matinée des Jeunes Etoiles III – Metamorphosis
Chamber Music
Saturday, 02. August 2025
10:30 a.m., Gstaad Chapel
6 p.m., Abländschen Church
For anyone who still thinks of the recorder as just an instrument that tests parents’ patience with their children’s first musical attempts, a visit to the Gstaad Chapel or the Abländschen Church on Saturday, August 2nd, is a must! The young Dutch virtuoso Lucie Horsch will reveal just how rich and captivating this instrument can be. Her programme takes us on a musical journey from the Flemish Renaissance to daring contemporary works, including the brilliant Partita by Johann Sebastian Bach and Claude Debussy’s iconic Syrinx. A performance full of surprises and musical wonder!
