Cycle «Change II» 2023 — 2025

by Gstaad Menuhin Festival

Despite the cancellation of its 2020 edition, the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy wishes to bring a number of musical events to life during the summer in order to maintain its momentum. We are looking forward to proposing, during the month of August 2020, different projects to our audience ina variety of forms – digital as well as “in the flesh”:

“Kosmos Beethoven”

Four high-profile Beethoven recitals by Sir András Schiff (piano), Sol Gabetta (cello) & Alexander Melnikov (piano), Patricia Kopatchinskaja (violin) & Jonas Ahoonen (piano), as well as Daniel Behle(tenor) & Jan Schultsz (piano), will highlight a few of the gems of the composer's chamber repertoire under the vaults of the Saanen church. The concerts will be broadcast live on www.gstaaddigitalfestival.ch on 4, 9, 14 and 15 August, and some of them will also be broadcast on SRF radio and TV.
