Born in 1993, Lithuanian accordionist Augustinas Rakauskas trained first in Kaunas, then at the Lausanne University of Music in Stéphane Chapuis’ class. Laureate of the World Accordion Trophy and of the Kiefer Hablitzel | Göhner Foundation Prize this year, he is a renowned musician et is also very keen on teaching. Several of his pupils have in turn won international prizes.
